My name is Matthew Neri. I am a queer game developer based in the DMV. I love everything video games and want to create stories that make people feel seen. I like to focus on gameplay design and creative direction, but I have experience in all aspects of game development, including programming, art, music, and writing. I aim to understand all parts of game development to create cohesive experiences within my games. Aside from video games, I love fashion, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and attempting to write hyperpop music.
I believe in diversity in video games and seek to give representation to those who have been underrepresented in the past. I aim to amplify untold stories and create accepting communities within the gaming space.
I believe in encouraging people to be their truest selves and expressing their uniqueness in their works. Every project is a collaborative effort that succeeds when everyone feels comfortable and respected.
